Adopt London South

Adopt London South is the agency that manages all adoption support funding requests. For details about how to access this funding, please see our funding page here.

Adopt London South run a social group for adopted young people called the Adoptables. They are currently running this on a monthly basis over Zoom (face-to-face to resume in September). This provides young people with opportunities to socialise with other adopted children and also discuss adoption topics such as identity, birth families, contact issues etc. Parents can contact the ALS helpline if they are interested in their children joining:  0207 525 4491

Adopt London South can also arrange for you to have a one off parent consultation with a family and child psychotherapist, Louis Sydney who can offer some advice and guidance while you are waiting for adoption support fund to begin. This can be particularly helpful if you need support with a particular issue, i.e challenging behaviour.  Call the helpline: 0207 525 4491
