Previously Looked-After Children

Support and advice for previously looked-after children's parents, guardians and schools

Post-16 Education

Kingston & Richmond local authorities have produced a Next Steps booklet (see pdf at the bottom of this page) for young people and their families to help them make decisions about what to do after GCSEs.   It also gives contact details for schools, colleges and other places you can go for more help and information.

Careers advisors can help young people to choose what they want to do when they reach Year 11. They offer support to young people aged 16 to 17 and not in education or training. Call them on 020 8547 5408.

RBWM offer advice about Preparing for Adulthood on the pages of their SEND website: https://rbwm.afcinfo.org.uk/pages/local-offer/information-and-advice/preparing-for-adulthood. A Pdf detailing the structure of their offer is available as a pdf below.
